BOOKS

We LOVE books!!

Books are a wonderful resource for home and clinic therapy. They are easily accessible, can be tailored to a child’s interests and can be used to elicit simple or complex language. They can also be swapped easily for variety, meaning they can be used all the way through treatment.

Here are some of our absolute favourites (although it is difficult to choose as there are so many!):

    • The Usborne series of 1001 Things to Spot
    • Usborne’s First Thousand Words by Heather Amery and Stephen Cartwright
Follow the Line through the House and Follow the line to school by Laura Ljungkvist
Where is the green sheep? by Mem Fox and Judy Horacek
The Lego Ideas Book and The Lego Book by Daniel Lipkowitz
    Window by Jeannie Baker
    • The You Choose series by Pippa Goodhart and Nick Sharratt
The Big Book of Crazy Mix-ups by Nick Sharratt
    Pants by Giles Andreae
    Where’s Wally series
    Bamboozled by David Legge
    Wacky Wednesday by Dr Seuss
